No amount of shampoo will do this. You need to chemically change the hair color to tone down. Send and photo of you what you did to your hair and what you will want done. I can help you do this at home. Never use Prell. That stuff is major crap!

Generic brand conditioning shampoo with purple toner works wonders, after only three washes my hair didn't have any yellow color left in it. It's at sally's and it's easy to find, it's simply a black and white bottle that says Generic at the top and says it's comparable to ';clairol shimmer lights original conditioning shampoo.';

It doesn't. Try pantene clarifying shampoo or if you really want to tone down your color instantly you can try using natural instincts semi-permanent hair color. I've used it on my hair when it was blonde to tone it down to a more natural looking color without all that brassiness.
